Com.R.N. Namdeo is no more After a long battle with cancer, com. Namdeo retired DE, who was also Ex-Circle Secretary of AIBSNLEA CG Circle, passed away this morning. We convey our heartfelt condolence and pray to almighty to give strength to the grieved family to bear this irrepairable loss.

CS Chhattisgarh circle attended cwc meeting Shri S.K.Mishra CS CG circle attended the CWC meeting held at Guwahati on 5th and 6th April 2013 and discussed about the problems faced by chhattisgarh circle also donated Rs.10000/- for purchase of car for CHQ.

GS AIBSNLEA, AGS(HQ), CIRCLE SECRETARY Chhatisgarh Circle met Sr. GM(Pers.)on 19.03.2013 and discussed (a) Promotion from DE to DGM: We requested to fill up vacant DGMs posts from eligible DEs. Sr. GM(Pers.) mentioned that after pursuance of the Hon'ble High Court Kerala through BSNL's Advocate for early delivering the judgment on 147 SDEs (LDCE Quota) Seniority Case, the promotion order will be issued. (b) Restructuring of AD(O/L) Cadre: We expressed our serious concern against non-holding of Committee Meeting and submission of report on this issue for last one year. Sr. GM(Pers.) assured to look into the matter and for eatly completion of the Committee report. (c) Regarding recently issued transfer orders in the grade of SDE(T), which is called volunteers for posting in ERP Cell, BSNL CO: We expressed our serious concern against Own Cost transfer order issued on dated 12.03.2013 by BSNL Corporate Office on which volunteers has been asked for posting in BSNL CO. Sr. GM(Pers.) mentioned that if transferred SDEs(T) represents to Pers. Cell that the transfer orders are issued on Govt. Cost, they will immediately join ERP Cell, the transfer order will be modify on Govt. Cost immediately. (d) Consideration of tenure/request transfer cases of DEs/SDEs: Sr. GM(Pers.) mentioned that all the pending request/tenure transfer cases will be considered in the month of April'2013.

19.02.2013:Strike called by all Central Trade Unions on 20th/21st Feb.,2013 - AIBSNLEA extends solidarity support to the struggle.

CS wrote to CGM TDM Ambikapur(Shri Kulranjan Kujur) misbehaved with Com. Xalxo, DE Manendragarh. CS wrote on 16-02-2013 to the CGM for taking action against TDM Ambikapur.

15-05-2013 ITS REPATRIATION COURT CASE: Today Hon'ble High Court Delhi dismissed the application of respondents i.e. DOT/BSNL/MTNL for extension of time for repatriation of ITS Officers from BSNL & MTNL. Association since beginning making sincere efforts orgainsationally and legally against discrimination of BSNL/MTNL absorbed employees. Hon'ble High Court Delhi also directed the BSNL/MTNL to implement the earlier judgement within six weeks time.

Circle Conference of AIBSNLEA Chhattishgarh Circle held at Raipur on 14.12.2012

AIBSNLEA Chhattishgarh Circle hold its Circle Conference in VIP Club at Raipur on 14.12.2012. Shri Prahlad Rai, GS and Shri C.M. Saste, OS(W) attended the conference. Shri Kishori Ram, CGMT Chhattishgarh Telecom Circle was the Chief Guest in the OPEN SESSION. Shri L.N. Tiwari in his welcome and keynote address discussed the issues related to Circle and All India Level. The Circle Secretaries of sister Unions/Associations i.e. BSNLEU, NFTE, FNTO, SEVA and AIGETOA Chhattishgarh Circle also attended and addressed the OPEN SESSION. Com. GS Shri Prahlad Rai in his address explained in detail the present situation prevailing in BSNL wherein a profit making PSU before five - six years has started making losses for the last three years about Rs. 17,000 Crores which is a matter of serious concern to all of us. He appealed to get unite and dedicate to make customers delighted by providing quality services in the available resources. He also apprised in detail the status of HR issues and expressed resentment against the indifferent attitude of the BSNL Management wherein the CPCs to fill up vacant Group-'B' and Group-'A' level posts on regular / adhoc / local officiating promotions has been stopped. It is not only stagnating the carrier prospectus of the executives but also adversely affecting the viability of BSNL. It is happening just because we are demanding committed leaders to lead BSNL. He also mentioned that DOT and BSNL Management should have ownership for BSNL. Shri Kishori Ram, CGMT Chhattishgarh Telecom Circle & Chief Guest in his address congratulated AIBSNLEA Chhattishgarh Circle for organizing Circle Conference in a decent manner and called upon to all employees to work together in this competitive era to provide best Telecom Services to our customers for the growth of BSNL. He also mentioned that this quarter Chhattishgarh Telecom Circle has increased its revenue flow by 7% and assured to make it a profit making Circle. Shri Armo, Circle president extended vote of thanks. Sh. S.K. Jain convened the meeting nicely. In the delegate session Com. GS replied all the queries of the members to their satisfaction. Sh. T.R. Patel, Sh. S.K. Mishra and Sh. P.K. Khere were elected as Circle President, Circle Secretary and Financial Secretary respectively. A large number of members attended the Conference.
